There was no one but John who could preform his natural shining light comedy and music. I'm Very Blessed to have worked with most of the crazy group of Lemmings,6 days a week at the Village Gate! Mondays off,but two Matinees on Sunday!
He was very kind to me,and a mentor. He wanted "Drummer Diane" to go to The big time with him. He was funny and smart, yet compassionate. He was like a big brother to me. He wasn't on drugs then, and tried to warn me like a dad to keep away from "The drugs Coke etc," "His words are forever burned in my Brain... Don't burn yourself out Drummer before we hit the big time, lil sis". So horrible and ironic.
It wasn't meant to be. And broke my heart, when I saw he had died. My babies didn't understand all of why I was crying by the little black and white TV in Oregon.
