Diary of the roots of the Autism rocks tale

In 2012 our family came back to Oregon after My Sis and I had left in 1997 to live in the south. That's a story in itself to be continued later. For now I will focus on bringing this up to speed. I started writing in my journals about How Dominic (my step-love is thicker then blood sometimes)Grandson. He is under the Autism Spectrum umbrella. Every story has a beginning middle and end. By 2013 I started a blog to learn more from others in this world of so many questions,lacking answers. Between that time and further. I was too busy dealing with life and the people I love around me in hard situations,that My step-sis & I were trying to make better for all and navigating many tough choices...

Post one: a start

Two of my Grandchildren have Autism and were both born in the south. There were little resources available there. We all live in Oregon again now & there are many good people providing Parents & Grandparents with tools & information to help us be better helpers to our kids. We learn so much from them & others who are also on this journey.

Hi Y'all combining blogs time!

I don't write a lot @ one sitting right now. My life is good yet very busy and super complicated. Past 2 months been tweeting from my new phone. It's fun yet even though it's cool to meet nice folks from all over the world and pass upbeat quotes,News from all over the world and try to share in 140 characters. It's also not how I want to write. I'm happy in the past 2 weeks that I had over 200 folks "follow me" I've learned some good things and shared back music etc.
Time is something that fades so quick. When your your young it seems like you have eternity in front,a few decades later it changes your reality! So I'm figuring out how to make the most of my time and combine 2 of my blogs. Autism Rocks (Which I started in 2012) and this one.
It's a few hours later,long day and I'm going to post this anyway because some of Y'all been waiting to hear whats going on!
In the morning will be back and start editing,copying and get ready to share insights,experience and the joy,frustrations the things that make us a family. I've been private about my "Behind the scenes" reality and just how rewarding yet hard it is to raise Grand-kids and one's with special needs need so much dedication and patience,as well as love. So I bid you all a nice goodnight!

Stiill above ground!

Living everyday in this struggle we call our life... Busy doing helpful things watching the world go to hell in a handbag. Why do so many make selfish-thoughtless choices and hurt so many needlessly all over the world. May the good deeds of proper folks multiply and evil deeds get wiped out. The time will come when I have more energy to share my insights... I send happy prayers to all.ox.

Happy Sunday Y'all!!~~oxo

It's been awhile since I could update everyone and say welcome to all the new folks that have come into my life from Twitter etc!
I'm learning how to balance my time! Juggling family-and trying to maintain a way to share my thoughts and creative drive! Also there are legal and privacy obligations I need to respect and so limit my private sharing with the public and family and friends. Anyone that knows me personally will understand and many do already! That said I am writing for a public that have good folks out there,and also a "Few bad apples" I don't want to upset The ole apple cart--to coin a phrase! Lol
So I just launched our first fund-raiser page on Go-fund me. It's a social experiment and in truth we can really use the help getting toward our goal of a washer/dryer. As the saying goes"Nothing ventured~nothing gained!" I am hoping to at least have a collection of my poems as an offering to share whether or not we have success with this. I figure it's only fair to let folks know (in part) who we are! The Kids are awesome & need to have privacy,as I said. So will focus on my over 10 year writing online career and media life!
